TCE is fortunate to have access to Thunderbird Adventist Academy's swimming pool for physical education classes. The first part of each school year begins with swimming for PE and culminates in a swim meet where awards are given to all participants as well as those who excel in each event.

Students also participate each year in a Walk-A-Thon to raise funds for the school's building program.  Students walk/run laps around the campus.  This year the highest number of laps was 12; the school record is 14 laps. 

During the month of February, the 7th and 8th grade class will participate in the American Red Cross Jump for the Heart fundraiser.  This year's event will be held February 15.  All funds raised go to the American Heart Association.
